I wanted organic red peppers to make organic ketchup to be home canned. I reconstituted the red peppers per the instructions on the package, blended them in the Vitamix and then proceeded to make the ketchup. I've made this recipe before with fresh red peppers and this batch actually tasted better. I am glad that I purchased 2 packages. I will definitely be purchasing again.
TERRIBLE - product was not vacuumed sealed and had holes in it. It was squeezed into a small box. There was a gigantic bag in a small box! According to the refund policy I can’t get a refund if I contact them after 24 hours of receiving it. I didn’t open the package until five days later. The big bag had holes. I really want a refund but there is no way for me to get a refund. So I am just leaving a review. We really liked the product in smaller sizes and decided to get a larger portion and that did not work out. Im pretty much disappointed.
I love Mother Earth Products. I like the resealable pouches I get the freeze-dried fruits in.
I would giver a higher recommendation if only I could be sure of the freshness. None of the items I’ve purchased display a ‘use by’ date, so I cannot know with 100% certainty how fresh the items are.
The dates you're looking for are on the bottom right and left hand corner of each label.
