Celebrate Spring By Blowing Up Your Taste Buds!
Spring has sprung and it's time to celebrate this amazing time of renewal. The birds are singing, bees are buzzing, and, heck, even old grouchy grizzly bears are coming out of hibernation.
This is the time to celebrate the warming temperatures, and your switch in outdoor activities. It's time to prep your body for summer, when those extra layers of clothes come off, and people can see what you really look like.
It's Time To Bring On The Tropical Smoothies
When you use your Mother Earth Products premium ingredients to power up your tropical smoothies, you're in for a treat that tastes like it's straight out of paradise.
Smoothies are the ultimate meal. You can make them all in one blender so your clean up is super fast and easy. You can get more nutrients in a single smoothie than most people get in a whole day and some people in a whole week. Plus, you just can't beat the taste. I mean you'll feel like you're drinking dessert, but it's fantastic for you.
The great thing is: smoothies are one of the few things in life it's ok to become addicted to. It's not like anyone's going to say you need to go to Smoothies Anonymous or anything like that. Just don't spike your smoothie with rum, and you'll do fine.
How To Make Some Killer Smoothies
Use your Mother Earth Products freeze dried strawberries, pineapples, bananas and, of course, mango like we spoke of before. Just add each of them to taste.
You can use a base of water or our Morning Moos product if you'd like a thicker creamier base. If you really like it creamy, add more Morning Moos powder to the same amount of water. Or you could go all out and even add some whole cream, or coconut milk.
Add in a few ounces of cottage cheese for your protein, use your favorite protein powder, such as a good whey protein, or even two egg yolks.
Be sure to add a couple cubes of ice so it will cool it off and thicken it even more.
Once you've got all that thoroughly blended, then add a little honey to sweeten it to taste. Be sure not to go overboard on the honey, or it could spike your blood sugar and that would be counterproductive. In truth, only use honey if you have to. You should have a great tasting smoothie without it.
From The Above Base You Can...
1. Add a serving of peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter or even macadamia nut butter if you really want that unmistakable taste of the tropics.
2. Change out some of your fruits with other Mother Earth Products freeze dried fruits and berries such as: blueberries, raspberries, cherries, blackberries, and more.
3. Add just a touch of cinnamon. Not only will it add a new amazing taste profile, but it will give you variety. Cinnamon has shown to have quite promising effects on blood sugar levels and its stabilization. ¹No matter how you blend it, smoothies made with our freeze dried fruits and other products are just what you need to kick off your spring time nutrition program. Everyone's getting ready for summer, and there's never been a better time to step it up than right now!
