Blueberries have been ranked as one of the fruits with the highest antioxidant content among fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants destroy free radicals, which can cause damage to our body cells. Free radicals cause the mutation of DNA and can result to cancer or premature aging. Although blueberries are small in size, they are very nutritious - talk of good things coming in small packages.
It's so important to eat well. We have so many bad foods surrounding us, our environment is toxic, and the cure for everything seems to be more and more drugs. That's why we want to talk about this game changing fruit.
