1. Strawberry Bread

Preparation – 30 minutes

Cooking – 45 minutes

Total Time – 1 hour, 25 minutes


  • 2 cups freeze-dried strawberries
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cups chopped pecans


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Thinly butter and dust two 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with flour. Shake out excess flour.
  3. Rehydrate the freeze-dried strawberries and place them in a medium-sized bowl. With a sieve, lightly sprinkle some sugar and set them aside.
  4. Put the flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl and mix them thoroughly.
  5. Whisk the oil and the eggs into the strawberries.

  5. Put it in the oven and bake for 50 minutes. Insert a toothpick to check if it’s cooked; if the toothpick comes out clean, it’s ready.

  6. Pour the batter into greased pans. Put the batter in the oven and bake for 60 minutes.
  7. Test with a toothpick if the bread is cooked; if the toothpick comes out clean, remove the bread from the oven.
  8. Cool it on the rack for 10 minutes, slice, and serve.
