    My husband loves Mexican food. As we prepared him to hike the Appalachian Trail, freeze-dried Mexican food featured prominently in the 6-month menu. The freeze dried refried beans were exactly what we needed to accomplish that goal and they have been working great on the trail!

    I tried these over a year ago! I've tried one other brand, but it just didn't have the flavor. We use this camping for Bean and cheese burritos. We use them at home too. The canned beans I just don't like and I don't have the time to make them from scratch. We just heat up a bowl of water, get it to boiling, stir in the beans with some garlic powder and stir. It's just how we do it. We are customers for life!!

    Took these camping in Shenandoah National Park. They made the best refried beans for our tacos & fajitas. The were easy to prepare, even cold soaked. The mylar pouch made it convenient to use & it traveled well.

    I use Dehydrated Refried Bean Mix almost everyday in my morning oatmeal

    I either use Dehydrated Refried Bean Mix or Dehydrated Pinto Beans after my morning swim or walk. Both complement the protein in oatmeal, along with chopped walnuts. Works great!

    I use Dehydrated Refried Bean Mix almost everyday in my morning oatmeal

    I either use Dehydrated Refried Bean Mix or Dehydrated Pinto Beans after my morning swim or walk. Both complement the protein in oatmeal, along with chopped walnuts. Works great!
