Backpacking hummus

I received two bags of classic instant hummus, a treat that I want to be good on backpacking trips. I have been testing the first bag and I love it. The classic is spicy enough and I already look forward to it on trail. Two 10 oz bags were reasonably priced and I loved ordering Mother Earth hummus instead of Amazon who I am not a fan of.

You say Tomato....

On a whim, decided to give these Dried Tomato Flakes a try. Couldn't be more pleased! The flakes are of a good size which provides visual appeal for content, texture and color. Then there is the flavor, which is surprisingly tomato-y. The flakes re-hydrate quickly and are ready to add to my recipes in minutes. Planning to pair them with basil and blend them into my dough mix for baking.

Likes: Fast delivery and good quality product.
